Community Points of Distribution (CPODs) are locations established by local jurisdictions to provide life sustaining commodities such as food and water in the aftermath of a disaster or emergency. During the session, attendees will receive classroom instruction on fundamentals and considerations of C-POD planning, establishment, and the demobilization process. Training will end with a practical exercise that includes establishment and walk-thru of a Type III C-POD.
