The South Carolina Emergency Management Division is hosting a two-hour workshop for local, state agency, and National Guard representatives to develop new or update existing Mission Ready Packages (MRP) in support of the Emergency Management Assistance Compact (EMAC). MRPs are specific response and recovery resources organized, developed, and trained prior to a disaster. Your MRPs enhance the timeliness of state response and mutual aid.

During the workshop, attendees will be introduced to the EMAC process, ways to expedite deployment, and critical reimbursement milestones associated with post-deployment. 

Assistance will be provided to organizations updating existing MRPs or developing new MRPs. Existing and example MRPs will be provided for modification during training.
